Campus Worship Pastor

Bethany Church exists to help bring all people into the LIFE, FAMILY, and PURPOSE of God. We believe that our Worship Experiences help fulfill that mission, make a difference in people’s lives, and play a significant role in leading lost people into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We are one church with multiple locations around the Baton Rouge and surrounding areas. Our team is fun, hilarious, hard working, passionate, and we desire to honor God with integrity.

We are looking for a dynamic Worship Leader to join our team. Corporate Worship is an integral value and passion of Bethany Church. Our Campus Worship Pastors are responsible for facilitating Worship Experiences at our 5 Campuses state-wide, pastoring their worship community, recruiting, and pouring into Bethany College Worship Practicum Students.

The basics:

  • Proficient Vocalist and Instrumentalist (Guitar, Keys, etc.)
  • Comfortable leading and speaking to large crowds
  • Broad Music Vocabulary (CCM, Gospel, Rock, etc.)
  • Strong foundation in music theory, the Nashville number system, and able to perform without sheet music.
  • Competent scheduling and using Planning Center Online.
  • Basic Technology Knowledge (Logic, Pro Tools, Ableton)

The Works:

  • Plan and execute worship sets for Sunday services at designated Bethany Campus
  • Lead weekly team night (rehearsal) for designated campus.
  • Help the team plan and execute worship experiences for special events during the week, conferences, and special holiday services.
  • Schedule team members for your campus using PCO
  • Help to facilitate instructing in our Bethany College Worship Practicum when asked.
  • Participate in Bethany Music Recordings and Content Creation when asked.

We’re looking for someone who possesses an intimate and growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ, who loves to build teams and recruit, and who has a passion for worship ministry at the local church.
