Jonathan & Angie Stockstill

Jonathan & Angie Stockstill serve as lead pastors at Bethany Church. Married in 2005, they live in Baton Rouge with their four children.

Together they lead the church with fresh vision, creativity, and a passion to see Louisiana impacted by the love of God. As a third-generation pastor, Jonathan has helped grow the church into a global ministry through multicampus sites, digital media, and Bethany Music.

We exist to see lives, communities, and cities transformed for eternity, and it’s now our time to bring hope to New Orleans. Though the Big Easy is known around the world, it’s our prayer to make it known for Jesus. Together, we will be the light that chases out darkness!

Opportunities to show the love of Christ will abound because we are the church, whether we’re together on Sunday or at work and school on Tuesday. Becoming disciples who are equipped and empowered to pursue God’s purpose in our lives will shape everything we do.

With our location in the heart of historic Canal Street, we’ll be accessible to all of the people and places that make this city so unique. No matter the time of day or month of the year, let’s bring Jesus to every corner of New Orleans!

Each of us has gifts that we can use to make a difference for God’s kingdom, and we’d love to see your abilities in action as part of our campus launch team. In whatever area you have the interest to serve, we want to see you fulfilled. Whether it’s prayer or outreach or small groups, talk with a Bethany team member today or e-mail them to learn how you can serve this city before our doors are officially open.

Get to know the fine folks who are helping Pastor Jonathan bring to life our church’s vision for New Orleans!
