Leader’s Section
This is simply a guide for you to follow as you lead your group. Below is a recommended worship song, icebreaker, and flow for your B-Group experience.
Worship Song: “Been So Good” by Bethany Music
Prayer: Always begin and end with prayer.
Icebreaker Question: What is your favorite meal of the day?
Stay In The Know: Baptism Sunday is this week on September 19!
Key Scriptures: Romans 16:5
The Big Idea:
We were never meant to walk alone in this life without family, friendships, or support from other believers. Meeting in church is important; it’s where we have the opportunity to learn and worship in a corporate setting. However, it’s just as important that you are connected to a small group of believers who can know you and care about you. As we begin this semester, I hope you are encouraged now more than ever that this is where you belong, sitting here with this small group of believers.
We all need to be noticed. *When you come to church but aren’t connected to anyone personally, no one will notice when you aren’t there.
We all need to take off the mask.
We all need support.
Discussion Questions:
Whether this is your first B-Group or you have been a part of a small group community for years, take this opportunity to share with others how being a part of a group has made a difference in your life.
Do you know someone who maybe sits beside you at church but has yet to connect to a group? Have you ever thought of inviting them to be a part of a small group?
Take some time this week to pray and ask the Lord whom He would have you invite to be part of your B-Group. They might not come on the first ask, but trust the Lord with the seed you sow. When you step out in boldness and obedience, He will do the rest!
