Stay In The Know: Leaders Night October 6th, 2021

Key Scriptures: Ephesians 5:18-20

The Big Idea:

Bethany has always been a place that values worship. We have such a rich heritage of corporate worship. The sounds and genres of music have changed over the years but our house is still built on worshiping together in one accord.

Main Points:

  1. There is freedom in worship. The enemy would love to keep you bound so that you will not be able to receive every lovely gift from above.

    • Exodus 8:1 This is what the Lord says “Let my people go so they can worship me.”
      • Ignorance will keep us from worship.
      • Fear of man will keep us from worship.
      • Our guilt and shame will keep us from worship.
      • Religion will keep us from worship.
  2. 2 Chronicles 7 We have learned the presence in worship.

    • He ministers to us in worship.
    • When we worship our hearts are changed.

Discussion Questions:

Worship brings unity, gives us victory over our situation and brings us into His presence. Do you have an experience where worship has marked your life and given you victory even when your circumstances had yet to change?

Have you been struggling lately with engaging in worship privately or corporately?

Set aside 5 minutes each day to worship in your home or in your car on your way to work. Worship the Lord as you listen to a song and invite the Holy Spirit to reveal Himself to you each day!
