Welcome to Cultivate, the exciting new growth track at Bethany! Cultivate is not only for new believers but also for all those who want to deepen their understanding of biblical principles found in the Word of God. In Hosea 4:6, the Bible says, “My people are being destroyed because they don’t know Me” (NLT). Many believers miss out on the blessings of God because they are unaware of who they are in Christ and what has been purchased for them by Jesus’ death on the cross. Cultivate is a great way for you as a believer to be empowered and transformed by the truth of the Scriptures!

Next Step

Cultivate begins with the “Next Step”. “Next Step” is held on Sunday nights at 6:00pm and begins with worship and praise. In “Next Step” you will understand what The Salvation Experience is all about as well as Water Baptism, The Person of the Holy Spirit and Christian Disciplines. Each topic follows a 60 min. format and ends with a time of discussion and impartation. In just 4 weeks you will have a firm grasp on these foundational topics.

C-1

After “Next Step” you are invited to attend Cultivate level 1 (C-1). These 8 workshops will help you become rooted and grounded in “Who you are in Christ, How to Conquer Temptation, The Blessed Life, The Balanced Life, Belonging to the Church, Prayer Types and Intercession, Sharing Your Faith/ The Value of a Soul and Worship. These insightful and rewarding workshops are also held on Sunday nights at 6pm.

C-2

Following C-1 is C-2. In level 2 of Cultivate we will explore such topics as Spiritual Authority, Power Evangelism, Your Purpose and Vision, Personality/Gifting/Calling, Resolving Conflict, World Missions, The Power of the Tongue, and Living in the Miraculous! As you can see, these topics will mature and strengthen new believers while also sharpening the focus of those who have walked with the Lord longer.

In 20 short weeks you can go from a novice believer to someone who is Strong in the Lord and the Power of His might! God’s desire for you is that you grow in knowledge of Him and that you are equipped to do the work of the ministry (Eph. 4:12)
